With the BRYCK Startup Alliance, business, science and the public sector in the Ruhr region are building Europe's leading innovation center for the development of successful B2B deep-tech startups. Through the close integration of leading industrial companies, universities and investors in the BRYCK Startup Alliance, more promising startups are to emerge from science and new technologies are to be made marketable and implemented in industry more quickly.
The Ruhr region is one of the strongest industrial and scientific regions in Europe. 22 universities with over 200,000 students mean an enormous potential of talent. At the same time, the region is characterized by a unique density of industrial companies - from corporations and SMEs to 100 global market leaders. In the BRYCK Startup Alliance, we bundle these regional strengths to accelerate the growth of science-based deep-tech startups.
The BRYCK Innovation and Startup Center, TU Dortmund University, the University of Duisburg-Essen and Ruhr University Bochum - together with the RAG-Stiftung and the Initiativkreis Ruhr - form the foundation of the BRYCK Startup Alliance. Together, we are pursuing the goal of building an innovation center with international appeal that will become a beacon of Startup Nation Germany and a magnet for tech talent and startups from all over Europe.
